Disney's Hollywood Studios is a theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort. Spanning 135 acres in size, the theme of the park is show business, drawing inspiration from the heyday of Hollywood in the 1930s and 1940s. The park consists of six themed areas, however Disney's Hollywood Studios does not have a defined layout. The park consists of streets and buildings that blend into each other, much like a real motion picture studio would. There are 11 rides and attractions including the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania, and Star Tours. In addition to those attractions, the park features a great amount of street actors on the midways known as "Citizens of Hollywood," as well as six live shows. The "Sorcerer Mickey Hat" is the 122 ft. tall symbolic icon of the park, and can be found in front of the Great Movie Ride. Disney's Hollywood Studios is only a part of the Walt Disney World Resort, which also features three other theme parks, two water parks, 22 resorts, two shopping and entertainment areas, and many recreational activities.
